A note on assets: Most of the SWFs do not publically release figures on assets and as a result, there is much debate on how much each SWFs have. Some figures wildly vary depending on the source. Most of these figures are taken from the financial press while others are taken directly from what they have released, while others are educated guess.
We have researchers who are looking at every possible investment that might have taken place by a sovereign wealth funds. This will allow us to independently verify the total assets.
